Trae provides various general settings to customize your development environment. Here’s how to manage them:
Accessing Settings
- Click the profile icon in the top right corner of Trae
- Select Settings from the dropdown menu
- The Settings window opens with the General settings section displayed by default
Available Settings
Theme
- Change Trae’s visual appearance by selecting different themes
- Choose between light, dark, and custom themes
Language
- Modify the display language of the Trae interface
- Select from available language options
Import Configuration
- Import existing settings and configurations from:
- Visual Studio Code
- Cursor
Editor Settings
- Click Go to Settings to open the Editor Settings window
- Customize various editor-related options:
- Font family and size
- Word wrap
- Window settings
- And more
Keyboard Shortcuts
- Click Go to Settings to open the Keyboard Shortcuts window
- Modify keyboard shortcuts according to your preferences
