OpenAI @OpenAINew voices. Better accents. And less "checking..." GPT-Live-1.1 brings these updates to Voice in ChatGPT, Codex, and dots, with new voices in French, German, Hindi, Mexican Spanish, Korean, and Japanese. Rolling out today to all users. Coming soon to the API.
Day 11/
We've landed a series of changes and more compute to very significantly decrease the occurrence of the disruptive "Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model". When it does happen, it should also eventually just continue by itself and not just block on it.

We've rolled out optimizations to how we store state on disk for the chatgpt & codex desktop app that should reduce the amount stored on disk by 60%. Small ship but we've heard enough feedback about power users running out of disk space.
Good plans are simple. I have one that should result in significantly more usage for everyone. Hope to get it done soon.

Codex reset and usage rules
Global reset
Applied automatically to eligible accounts. Eligibility depends on the announcement; it does not create a saved reset.
Banked reset
Saved for you to apply before expiry. A full reset refreshes the 5-hour and weekly windows and changes your weekly reset date.
Personal usage windows
Your 5-hour and weekly limits follow your account. A public global-reset record cannot provide your personal countdown.
