SEO & AEO Desk
Created by Adam Tanguay
Turn search topics and buyer questions into prioritized page ideas and content briefs.
Our developer take
Planning a developer product's content
Start with your SaaS landing page and the integration questions customers ask. Request a small set of useful documentation or comparison pages, each with a concrete audience and purpose. Review the briefs before committing to a publishing schedule.
A practical first workflow
How to use SEO & AEO Desk
Turn one developer-product page into a prioritized content brief.
An AI IDE List walkthrough based on the linked template. These are suggested tasks and review criteria, not results from a hands-on test.
First, add this Bot
Open the official SEO & AEO Desk template, choose Import Bot, and finish adding it in the Grok Bot app. Open its conversation, then follow the workflow below. If you have not set up the app, follow our installation and connection guide.
What to prepare
- Your site URL, target customer, and the page or topic to improve.
- A keyword or customer-question list; pasted data is sufficient to start.
- Google Search Console access only if you want analysis using that data.
Share the product context
Give the Bot your URL, audience, and conversion goal. Select one page rather than asking for a site-wide content plan immediately.
Supply search evidence
Paste your keywords or customer questions. If using Search Console, complete the supported connection and specify the date range.
Request an audit and brief
Ask for missing search intents, an AI-question map, and a writer brief with proposed headings, evidence needs, and internal links.
Choose what to implement
Review the highest-priority recommendation against your product. Move one approved idea into your content workflow before opting into recurring reports.
First-run example
Replace every [BRACKETED_VALUE] with your details, attach the required files, then send this in the Bot's conversation.
Review [PAGE_URL] for developers evaluating [PRODUCT_CATEGORY]. The desired next action is [CONVERSION_GOAL]. Customer questions and keywords: [PASTED_LIST]. Search Console data: [PASTED_DATA_OR_NOT_CONNECTED]. Return the three most important content gaps and a writer brief for the strongest opportunity: intent, proposed headings, questions to answer, evidence required, and relevant internal links. Label unavailable metrics. Keep this as a brief for review; do not publish changes.
What you should get
Use this checklist to review the first result and request anything missing.
- Prioritized gaps connected to an audience question or page observation.
- A usable writer brief with structure, evidence needs, and links.
- A clear distinction between supplied metrics and editorial suggestions.
For the next run
Revisit the implemented page with fresh data. Enable a relevant opt-in routine only once its output format is useful.
If the first run gets stuck
Without Search Console, start with the page and pasted questions. Ask the Bot to mark traffic and ranking metrics unavailable rather than estimate them.
What the template includes
Official sourceSummarized from the public listing. The labels below describe capabilities; exact installed skill and connector names are not always published.

Skills & playbooks
Keyword research · Content briefs · Page audits · Question mapping
Routines
Three opt-in routines are described; configure their schedules during setup.
What to consider
The documented output is a brief, not a finished article. Search performance still needs real measurement.
