BetaList submission requirements and pricing

BetaList targets technology startups before or shortly after launch. Its official support page confirms that free submissions have ended. Current package prices appear during submission, so this guide does not reuse amounts from older directory roundups.

Public rules checked

How do pricing and review work?

You pay before the editorial team reviews the startup. If it is not selected, BetaList says it automatically refunds the full amount. A completed feature is not refundable.

Sign in to inspect current packages and timing before setting your budget. Paying for a submission does not bypass the editorial criteria.

Is your startup eligible?

Use your own domain. Free hosting subdomains such as vercel.app or netlify.app, and standalone app-store links, do not qualify. Explain the product’s value and give visitors a meaningful way to register, download, or access it.

BetaList excludes blogs, newsletters, courses, ordinary stores, and agencies. A startup can be featured at pre-launch and again at launch, with at least several weeks between features.

For a pre-launch product, make the intended user and use case clear. Before paying, compare your page against the official criteria and check that the signup or access path works.

Prepare your submission

  1. Review the editorial criteria and confirm that your product is at the right stage.
  2. Prepare a clear product page on your own domain with a working access or signup path.
  3. Sign in, complete the submission details, and inspect the current package price.
  4. Pay only after reviewing the terms, then wait for the editorial decision.
